Custom Features
- Built near Winnipeg where temperatures have ranged from +42C to -57C
- The predominant material is limestone tailings
- As a public washroom, it is a prime target for graffiti, but while concrete blockwork has fallen victim many times, this is not the case with SIREWALLS
- This landmark wall is well loved by the locals
Technical Details
- The wall is 24”thick, 100’ long, 15’ tall and sits on a concrete upstand
- There is an integral proprietary hydrophobic admixture
- The predominant material was limestone tailings
- The compressive strength at 28 days (with only 10% cement) was 24.5MPa (3550 psi)
- There are no control joints over the entire length
